Payment & Shipping
HomePayment and delivery arrangements are coordinated individually for each artwork purchase. We will guide you through your invoice, payment instructions, and the shipping options appropriate to the work and its destination.
This page provides an overview. The applicable terms of sale and any written arrangements agreed for your purchase set out the specific conditions.
Your Invoice
Before preparing your invoice, we will confirm the purchaser’s details and the intended delivery address.
Your invoice will identify the artwork, the agreed purchase price, and applicable charges. Shipping and additional services may be quoted separately, depending on the arrangements.
Please review your billing and delivery information carefully and let us know if anything needs to be corrected before making payment.
Making Payment
Payment for artworks is made by bank wire transfer. Your invoice and payment instructions will be provided directly to you, together with the applicable payment terms.
The artwork can be released once the outstanding balance and applicable charges have been received in cleared funds.
Bank details are not published on our website. If you receive an unexpected request to change payment instructions, please call us using the telephone number published on this website before proceeding.
Taxes and Additional Charges
Applicable taxes and other charges depend on the circumstances of the transaction, including the delivery destination.
For international purchases, the shipping arrangements will identify whether customs duties, import taxes, and clearance charges are included in the quotation or payable separately. We encourage you to discuss these costs with us before confirming the arrangements.
Shipping Arrangements
Every artwork has its own handling requirements. Shipping quotations take into account the work’s location, dimensions, medium, framing, packing needs, and destination.
We can assist in coordinating protective packing, crating, specialist transport, and scheduled delivery as appropriate. Shipping and related services are arranged on your behalf and at your expense unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Please tell us about any requirements that may affect delivery, including stairs, elevator dimensions, building restrictions, or appointment requirements.
Delivery Timing
Anticipated dispatch and delivery dates are discussed once the arrangements have been established.
Timing may depend on payment clearance, packing or crating, transport availability, customs procedures, and access at the destination. If a particular date is important, please raise it before purchasing so that we can discuss what is feasible.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise.
International Delivery
International shipments are considered according to the artwork and its destination. We can assist with coordinating the relevant shipping documentation and discussing customs or permit requirements.
Please confirm the final destination at the outset. Any subsequent change should be discussed with us before dispatch, as it may affect costs, documentation, and timing.
Transit Coverage
We can assist you in arranging appropriate transit coverage as part of the shipping process. The scope of coverage and any relevant conditions or exclusions should be confirmed before the artwork is released.
Under our terms of sale, responsibility for loss or damage passes to the buyer when the artwork is released to the buyer or the designated carrier. Coordinating transport on your behalf does not change that allocation of responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If you intend to appoint your own carrier, please discuss collection and coverage with us in advance.
Collection and Installation
If you would prefer to collect an artwork or appoint a representative, please let us know so that we can confirm its location and coordinate the release arrangements.
We can also help arrange unpacking, installation, and related services. Please discuss your requirements with us in advance, including the intended installation location and any particular access or handling needs.
The scope, availability, and cost of these services will be confirmed individually. Installation and the removal of packing materials are included only when expressly specified.
Receiving Your Artwork
Please check the shipment on arrival. If you notice damage to the packaging or have a concern about the artwork, let us know promptly. Retain the packaging and take photographs of any visible concerns.
We will assist you with the next steps according to the circumstances and the applicable shipping arrangements.
